If you don't have the time to fill it out right this second, don't worry! It will also be emailed to you. Please try to fill it out within 3 days of purchase. If this is a rush order, or if your wedding is in less than a month, please fill out the form within 24 hours.

2. We'll send you a full proof of your ketubah

You'll have a chance to see exactly what it will look like before it's printed. We'll make any necessary changes, and then we'll get your final approval.

3. Your ketubah will be printed and shipped

We'll send you another email with tracking and care information as soon as your ketubah is in the mail.

Will your ceremony take place before or after sundown?

In the Hebrew calendar, the date changes at sunset, not at 12:00 am. So the Hebrew date used in your text will be different depending on whether the ceremony happens before or after sunset. NOTE FOR SATURDAY WEDDINGS: If you are getting married on a Saturday evening, your Rabbi may request that you use the after-sundown date even if your ceremony will technically take place before sundown. This is because a ketubah is a legal document under Jewish law, and it isn't kosher to have a wedding ceremony during Shabbat. If you're unclear about your Rabbi's wishes, please check with him or her before answering the question below.

A special note for our clients who identify as non-binary: Hebrew is a highly gendered language, which can make it difficult for our non-binary clients to find a ketubah text that is affirming of their identity. We'd be happy to chat with you about a couple of options, so please just let us know.

Your Hebrew name is technically "Your first name son/daughter of Father Name and Mother Name," and, as such, it's traditional to include the parents' names in the ketubah text. We recommend checking with your officiating Rabbi (if applicable) if you would prefer to omit them.

Selecting Your Texts

Which English text would you like?

Which Hebrew text would you like on your ketubah?

A note about selecting your Hebrew Text: Occasionally, clients will select a text on their order form, but will change their mind about which Hebrew text they'd like after seeing their proof. If we need to have our translators prepare a second Hebrew text for you, you will be billed $25 for a Hebrew text or $32 for an Aramaic text (Orthodox or Conservative). This is a pass-through cost that goes straight to our talented translators. If you're at all unsure about which text you'd like or what requirements your Rabbi might have, please let us know in the comments section if you'd like for us to wait before ordering your translation. If so, that partner's parents are typically listed as Abraham and Sarah in the Aramaic part of your ketubah. Please let us know if either partner has converted, and what their preferences are for how we handle the parent names in the Aramaic portion of the text.

Do you need extra long signature lines?

When clients want to sign their ketubah in both English and Hebrew, we make the signature lines extra long. We are more limited by some designs (particularly those with circular text) but we will always do our best to create extra long lines when requested.

How would you like us to label the signature lines?

i.e. "Bride" "Groom" "Partner" "Beloved" "Witness" "Officiant" "Rabbi" etc. Please type out the exact labels you would like to use.
