The Ink with Intent Team is expanding!
Hey there! It’s been a while 🙂 Over here at the Ink with Intent studio, I’ve been running around doing custom orders, updating my website, and preparing for a very special arrival in a few weeks. It’s been a little crazy, but in a very good way.
In other news, I’m super excited to announce that, because business has been expanding, the Ink with Intent team is expanding too! I’ve hired two incredible women to join me as we continue to serve up contemporary ketubahs and wedding certificates in 2016. Let’s meet these kick-a** ladies, shall we?
Sara Ann LeHoullier will be joining Ink with Intent as a Customer Service Ninja.
She’ll be the one communicating with you, keeping track of your order (and your wedding date!) to make sure your ketubah or wedding certificate arrives in plenty of time for your big day, and answering any questions you might have along the way. Fun fact! Sara Ann lived in Madagascar for over two years, and speaks Malagasy fluently. When I was interviewing people for the job, I asked her to tell me her favorite thing about weddings. Her response had me giggling: “Weddings are the perfect combination of union and reunion – I love listening to family members and friends tell the stories of the couple, and seeing the progression of their lives that brought them together through the collective eyes of the people they love. Also watching grandparents booty-dance.”
Sarah Resnick will be joining Ink with Intent as a Graphic Design Guru.
She’ll be the one customizing your ketubah or wedding certificate until it’s exactly what you wanted. She’ll walk you through the proofing process, and answer any of your design or text questions. Wondering what makes the Conservative (Aramaic) text different from the Conservative Egalitarian text? Curious about just how many signature lines you can squeeze into that design? She’s your woman. And Sarah’s not just a graphic designer – she’s also a weaver and a textile artist. Her favorite thing about weddings? “I love seeing how the couples blend together their families’ traditions and cultures into their ceremony.” So true!
So, a big welcome to Sara Ann and Sarah! Couldn’t be more excited to have you join the team.

Hey there!
If you’ve been thinking about reaching out to discuss doing a custom ketubah or wedding certificate for your upcoming wedding, then I have a quick bit of news that might change your timeline. I’m super excited to announce that the Ink with Intent team will be expanding by one tiny, noisy, pretty-much-entirely-unhelpful staff member in early 2016. In other words, we’re having a baby!
This means that if your wedding will take place between March and June of next year, and you’d potentially like a custom ketubah or wedding certificate at your ceremony, it’s time to get the ball rolling. All of my custom work will be completed by mid-February and I won’t be taking new commissions until at least May. That said, my signature lines of ketubahs and wedding certificates will continue to be available throughout that time, so never fear if you’ve been eyeing one of my pre-designed pieces.
Thanks so much for your understanding!

Hey there! Hope you’re having a lovely spring so far.
I normally reserve this space for shop updates, new designs, snippets of history – you know, business stuff! – but today I wanted to write something that was a bit more personal.
It’s been a fast-paced 15 months since I launched my little ketubah shop on a whim, and in that time so much has changed. I’ve met hundreds of incredible couples who have planned hundreds of beautiful, unique weddings. And I’ll be forever grateful to each of these clients who have invited me to participate in their ceremony by creating their ketubah or wedding certificate. You guys are constantly reminding me why weddings matter, and the amount of love I see inspires me in my own marriage every single day.
This month I turn 30 (what? crazy!). But thanks to my incredible clients who have kept me very busy this year, I’ll be entering this new decade as a full-time independent artist – something I always dreamed about but never really believed would happen. And that means some other exciting projects are coming down the pipeline. I’ve begun quietly working with some clients on wedding invitations and other custom design pieces, and I’ll be sharing more about that soon.
So I guess what I’m trying to say is thank you, thank you, thank you for choosing to support my little business and for making one artist’s dreams a reality. It has been a tremendous honor to work with each and every one of you.
XOXO,
Adriana Saipe

New partnership (and a special treat!)
Generally, I’m not a huge fan of wedding websites. I know, that’s pretty strange for someone who works in the wedding industry. It’s just that when I was planning my own wedding a couple of years ago, I binged a little too hard on the big-name wedding blogs, and came away with a serious wedding inferiority complex. No good.
But then I started to get smarter about the types of wedding websites I consumed. I looked for wedding websites that were a little more inclusive, a little more creative, a little more…unconventional. And that’s how I found a few wedding websites that carried me through the crazy days of wedding planning.
Today, I’m happy to announce that I’m partnering up with one of the websites I relied upon most heavily. As of this week, I’m officially a featured vendor over at Offbeat Bride. Have you checked them out yet? Their blog is an absolute treasure trove of DIY projects, unique wedding inspiration, and a killer curated vendor list which is organized by region and by category.
And I couldn’t be more excited to be represented among their vendors! You can see my full profile here. And you might even find a little discount just for those in the know.
Keep doing your thing, Offbeat Bride!

That 2015 will ring in a brand new partnership with ketubah.com!
One of my dreams as an artist has always been to license my original artwork. It feels like making it to the big leagues, you know? So when Ketubah.com offered to license 9 of my original ketubah designs, I was thrilled. And they’ve been a joy to work with while we set up the licensing arrangement. Ketubah.com is a great business that treats their licensed artists with respect, and I couldn’t be happier to be in business with them.
Since signing my licensing agreement, I’ve had a few clients ask what it means for them. Here’s a quick Q+A to answer any questions you might have about purchasing my designs on ketubah.com.
Which designs are now available on ketubah.com?
I’ve licensed my typographic designs, my paint swash series, and my intertwined tree design. You can shop all of my ketubah.com designs here!
Can I still purchase those designs through you?
Because of exclusivity, I will no longer be selling these specific designs directly on my website. But you can purchase them directly at ketubah.com! Ketubah.com has a large selection of texts and great customer service, so I’m guessing you’ll have a lovely experience working with them.
What if I want a custom version of one of these designs?
I can still offer custom versions of these designs. For instance, if you want the typographic design in neon orange (I’m not judging!), or the paint swash design with different colors. Just shoot me an email if you’re interested.

I just wanted to take a quick moment to wish each and every one of you a happy new year. Ink with Intent launched just under a year ago, and it’s been an incredible ride so far. I’ve had the privilege to work with over 100 couples on a unique ketubah for their wedding. And for that, I am eternally grateful.
2014 was a year of growth and change. I sold my very first ketubah at the end of last February. And since then it’s been a constant whirlwind of designing, problem solving, and learning as I go. I couldn’t be more thankful for my 2014 clients – they were understanding, creative, and excited to work with someone who was new on the ketubah scene. You guys seriously rock.
I think that 2015 will be another year of exciting changes. I just kicked off my first business partnership (more on that later this week), I’ve been sketching out some brand new Spring designs (they’ll be up soon!), and I have some big ideas for where I might take this business next. So, happy 2015 everyone! And cheers to new beginnings!

I just wanted to take a moment to wish each and every one of you a very happy and joy-filled Hanukkah. In our house, we’ll light the candles, fry up some latkes (do yourself a favor, and check out this recipe), and take a few moments to reflect on how much has changed since the last holiday season.
This year in particular feels extra packed with change. Last February, at the suggestion of a friend, I designed a couple of ketubahs and posted them on Etsy. And before I knew it, my shop Ink With Intent was born. It’s hard to believe that my designs have now been a part of over 100 weddings.
In other words, that’s over 100 couples who will celebrate their first married Hanukkah together this year. Who will begin taking the ancient customs, prayers, and recipes, and begin building holiday traditions that reflect who they are and the types of lives they want to build together. It’s an incredibly humbling and wonderful realization.
So, a special thank you from me, my husband, and my four-footed studio assistant Copernicus. I have absolutely loved working with each and every one of you, and you have made this year so incredible.
Happy Hanukkah from Ink With Intent!
